We are seeking a

General Manager (Business Management)

who is both a

Technical Business Manager

and

Chief Technician

. This role combines advanced automotive technical expertise with full operational and business management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, advisors, and administrative staff while personally handling high-level technical work on luxury and performance vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership

Diagnose, repair, and oversee complex jobs for

Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini

, and other high-end continental cars. Perform and supervise:

Gearbox Overhaul (??/?????)

Engine Overhaul???????

Software Programming & ECU Diagnostics

Mechatronic Repair

Under Carriage Repair

Hybrid Battery Repair

Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality, precision, and reliability. Train and guide technicians to elevate workshop capability.

2. Business & Operations Management

Oversee daily operations of the workshop including job scheduling, parts procurement, and workflow optimisation. Manage profit and loss, set revenue targets, and monitor cost control. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Maintain and improve customer satisfaction and reputation of the workshop. Work closely with the Managing Director to set and execute business strategies.

3. People Management

Lead and motivate the team of technicians, service advisors, and administrative staff. Implement performance reviews, training, and clear accountability systems. Build a results-driven, collaborative, and disciplined work culture.

4. Strategic Development

Drive business growth through improved processes, service offerings, and customer engagement. Identify technical and operational bottlenecks and implement long-term solutions. Support marketing initiatives and contribute to business development plans.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience in

engine and gearbox overhaul

,

ECU/software diagnostics

, and

hybrid systems

for luxury continental cars. Minimum

10 years of technical experience

, with at least

5 years in a leadership or management role

. Deep understanding of

Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini

systems and diagnostic platforms. Strong business acumen with the ability to manage P&L and improve operational efficiency. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Able to balance workshop supervision with technical execution.
