About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Compliance Engineer to oversee quality and operational standards across infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will execute inspection and verification processes, coordinate with internal and external teams, and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and monitor project-specific quality and compliance plans, including inspection procedures and verification protocols. Conduct inspections across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and environmental control systems at various stages of implementation. Inspect materials, monitor workmanship, and verify alignment with approved designs and specifications. Oversee and document installation of critical systems, including electrical distribution and environmental control systems. Raise and manage non-conformance issues, ensuring timely resolution with corrective and preventive measures. Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and third-party specialists on compliance and operational quality matters. Support commissioning, validation, and system testing activities while maintaining accurate documentation. Prepare routine operational and compliance reports, maintain records, and compile handover documentation. Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to project standards. Support final inspections, punch list management, and project close-out documentation.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in technical compliance, project execution, or engineering oversight in critical or complex infrastructure projects. Familiarity with inspection procedures, method statements, and quality compliance processes. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and environmental control systems is advantageous. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes accurately. Workplace safety certification (WSQ/WSH) preferred. Positive, proactive attitude with strong ethical standards. Team player capable of working independently and resolving challenges in fast-paced environments. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
