The Technical Consultant is to lead and manage the overall data center facility solution from presales to post-sales stages including direct interface with customer to obtain the user requirement, develop the fit-for-purpose solution, and deliver the data center services for data center business opportunities in APAC with an objective of ensuring an appropriate technical information and designed solution to meet the customer's requirement and support business growth. This position requires extensive work with both internal teams (including sales, product management and operations) and various external stakeholders.Working at NTTKey Roles and Responsibilities:Presales Support:

• Lead, design, develop and manage the overall critical facility solution (including both technical and operational aspect) of strategic deals and/or due diligence activities for both data center for the assigned opportunities to customers, partners and prospects.
• Provide technical expertise and credibility to the customers and collecting customer business and technical requirements to formulate and develop the winning solution.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to design and develop the customized solution including solution proposal, technical scoping, procurement formation, costing estimation, pricing strategy and implementation plan as well as establish and define the user acceptance criteria and testing plan with in-house design engineering and project management teams to match business and customer's requirements.
• Provides technical support in sales presentations, customer meetings, including deliver presentation and conduct the data centre site tour.

Quality Management:

• Define, develop and maintain up-to-date technical information database of each data center products and aligning the critical technical figures with product owners and operation team for any change of infrastructure system.

Lead for Customization Provisioning:

• Lead, manage and deliver the customization provisioning to the customer with direct interfacing and coordination with both external customer and all internal stakeholders.

Training Support:

• Define and develop the technical training material to the internal customers (sales, product consultant, product owner, etc.) for any update about data centre development.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and local regulations, data centre product specifications and service-level agreement.
• Excellent English written and presentation communications skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills - ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Self-motivate and able to work independently under tight timeline.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering
• Relevant certification

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of work experience in data center or building construction industries
• Data center critical facility design or engineering
• Project management
• Work experience in critical facility design & engineering or operations team in hyperscale cloud providers (advantage)
• Work in presale position (advantage)
