Job Description

My client is a leading payments provider of self-service and electronic payment solutions. They are seeking a Technical Deployment Lead - POS Solutions to lead the full lifecycle of terminal deployments-- from planning and execution to maintenance and optimisation. This strategic and hands-on role requires strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to ensure smooth deployments, drive process efficiencies, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Deployment Strategy & Execution

Lead end-to-end deployment of payment terminals, ensuring timely and efficient rollouts Define and implement standardised protocols, SLAs, and KPIs to streamline operations Continuously refine workflows to minimize downtime and improve service delivery

Team Leadership & Development

Supervise and mentor deployment staff, providing training on installation and troubleshooting Develop performance benchmarks and conduct regular reviews to ensure team excellence

Technical Oversight & Compliance

Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues Ensure all deployments adhere to PCI-DSS and internal security policies Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to provide field-driven insights for product enhancements

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

Serve as the main point of contact for key enterprise clients and deployment partners Manage third-party logistics, vendors, and contractors to meet operational targets Partner with cross-functional teams including Business, CX, Product, and Tech

Reporting & Optimization

Monitor deployment performance metrics and generate regular reports for leadership Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve turnaround time

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of experience in field operations, including 3+ years in payment terminal or POS deployment Proven ability to lead large-scale hardware deployment initiatives In-depth knowledge of PCI compliance and payment terminal hardware/software Strong networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, cellular) Familiarity with CRM and deployment management platforms
