Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Design Manager to join our innovative team. Our company specializes in creating human-centric interior designs across various sectors, including workplace, retail, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in technical design management, with a strong ability to oversee the technical aspects of design projects, ensuring precision and quality in execution.Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical design process from concept to completion, ensuring all projects meet high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Develop detailed design plans, specifications, and documentation for each project.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate technical requirements into design solutions.
- Manage project timelines and resources efficiently to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Conduct site visits to oversee implementation and resolve any technical issues that arise.
- Mentor and guide a team of technical designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Provide training and support to enhance team members\' technical skills and knowledge.
- Review and approve technical drawings and specifications produced by the team.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all technical documents.
- Conduct regular audits of design processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with clients to ensure their technical requirements are understood and met.Key Qualifications
- Minimally 5 years experience in a technical design management role within the interior design or architecture industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in managing complex design projects across various sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, D5 Render Sketchup (Good to have)
