About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical / Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at Right Construction Pte Ltd. As a Technical / Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and execution of various construction projects, playing a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality infrastructure. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects while contributing to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

Provide technical expertise and oversight for the design, planning, and implementation of construction projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications to support project delivery Conducting site surveys, soil investigations, and feasibility assessments to inform the design process Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects Coordinating with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure the successful implementation of construction plans Monitoring and supervising construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during the construction phase Providing technical support and guidance to construction workers and subcontractors Preparing progress reports and documentation for project stakeholders Performing any other relevant duties assigned by the direct manager or management, including ad-hoc tasks or projects deemed necessary for business continuity or operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in the civil/structural engineering industry, preferably in the construction sector Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, BIM software such as Revit & Navisworks. Autodesk / BCA Certificate is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address technical challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
