Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Perform daily routine inspections of front-of-house areas and back-of-house plantrooms to ensure all essential services are in an operational readiness state.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for defects rectification works

\xc2\xb7 Ensure execution of preventive / predictive maintenance to identify and prepare equipment for maintenance before breakdown.

\xc2\xb7 Response to system breakdowns, attend to and resolve operational issues relating to lighting, fan, power, water, etc for safe environment for guests, staff and living collections.

\xc2\xb7 Perform in-house maintenance work including no load testing of standby generators and quick fix of building repairs, painting and carpentry work.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain proper inventory of store items for electrical, sanitary and plumbing, painting, carpentry, and hand tools.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor utilities consumption and establish baseline consumption for the park.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure safe working conditions through taking corrective actions to maintain equipment and process within safe operating limits.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain records of all equipment lists for machines, pumps, aircon, fire protection, etc for the park.

\xc2\xb7 Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Minimum NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).

\xc2\xb7 At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Facilities Management in built environment.

\xc2\xb7 Prior experience and/or knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and hand and powered tools.

\xc2\xb7 Good verbal and written communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Possess a positive working attitude and is an excellent team player.
