PreciX is a Singapore-based MedTech startup founded in 2016 to revolutionize the healthcare industry\'s approach to joint health and mobility assessment, transforming lives by helping people move better and live well. We provide simple, fast, and accessible assessments, and empower healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.We have developed a novel wearable device, GATOR PODs, for the knee joint. This device aims to provide a range of biomechanical measurements, by leveraging a modular and scalable multi-sensor platform. These measurements are used by the clinician to assess the functional performance of the knee joint accurately during natural dynamic movement, thereby enabling a range of clinical applications such as screening, diagnosis support, and recovery tracking.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Intern will:

• Support data processing activities for research and commercial projects.
• Engage in feature exploration & data visualization tasks.
• Analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights.
• Preparing reports and sharing with respective stakeholders
• Working with programmers to improve data management processes and systems
• Support product development activities for clinical applications of wearable systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of product development projects, as well as seamless and robust implementation.
• Participate in ad hoc project assignments.

LEARNING OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES:By the end of this internship, this intern should have:

• Gained an understanding of applying data analytics to healthcare data.
• Gained new knowledge about the application of movement analytics for the clinical management of knee joint disorders.
• Acquired and applied project management skills.

Application Requirements:

• Pursuing Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or any Engineering field with good programming skills.
• Knowledge in python, and relevant data science libraries such as pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn.
• Experience in handling healthcare data, biomedical sensor data, human physiology will be beneficial.
• Skills in the following will be a plus: Statistics, Computer Vision, Deep/Machine learning, and Data visualization.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
• Possess strong communication skills to collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of business deliverables.
