Description

You are required to perform duties for a broad scope and complexity of biomedical and scientific equipment relating to preventive maintenance and breakdown services, and also to ensure patient safety and safe usage of biomedical and scientific equipment through maintenance, testing, calibrating, and repairing.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Performing and completing scheduled preventive maintenance jobs for biomedical and scientific equipment by following the manufacturer\'s instructions and checklist.
• Troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns jobs for biomedical and scientific equipment by following the manufacturer\'s instructions.
• Troubleshooting and assisting the user department on related issues for biomedical and scientific equipment.
• Ordering and expediting parts orders for breakdowns jobs.
• Ensuring scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdowns jobs for biomedical and scientific equipment are completed within KPI or reasonable timeframe with justification provided.
• Liaising with user department, biomedical and scientific equipment vendors ensuring impact to user\'s operations are minimized.
• Assisting departments on their biomedical and scientific equipment inventory.
• Attending technical training on biomedical and scientific equipment arranged by Training Coordinator.
• Understand IT, Cybersecurity, and EMR Integration related to biomedical and scientific equipment matters.

Requirements

• Min Deg/Dip in Biomedical Engineering or related
• Possesses technical knowledge and experience in preventive, maintenance and breakdown maintenance for medical devices.
• Knowledge in IT, Cybersecurity, and EMR Integration for biomedical and scientific equipment will be an advantage.
