About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Lead to oversee large-scale infrastructure projects from planning to completion. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project execution plans, timelines, and budget allocations. Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with project objectives. Oversee procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and critical items. Ensure construction and installation works comply with specifications, codes, and client expectations. Monitor financial resources and manage project expenditure effectively. Provide direction and guidance to engineers, technical teams, and vendors to uphold safety, accountability, and operational efficiency. Plan workforce needs, training programs, and succession strategies for current and future initiatives. Streamline workflows and resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans. Lead problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across projects. Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and workplace safety standards. Report regularly on project progress, milestones, and potential challenges to senior management and clients. Support client engagement, resolve technical issues, and maintain high levels of trust. Conduct site reviews, audits, and inspections to ensure quality and compliance. Evaluate vendor and contractor performance to ensure contractual obligations are met. Implement project management systems and tools to enhance reporting and decision-making. Oversee final testing, commissioning, and handover processes. Maintain detailed project documentation, manuals, and certification records. Capture lessons learned to enhance efficiency in future projects.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in project, engineering, or construction management, ideally in highly technical or critical environment projects. Strong technical understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and specifications. Proven leadership skills managing teams, vendors, and complex projects in a 24/7 operational context. Familiarity with industry standards, sustainability, and energy efficiency practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Workplace safety certification (WSQ/WSH) preferred. Strong ethical standards with a proactive and positive attitude. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and team management abilities. Ability to work independently, manage challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
