We are looking for a passionate Technical Project Executive who will be working with Wilhelmsen Ship Management, a comprehensive global maritime group providing over half of the merchant fleet with essential products and services, along with supplying crew and technical management to the largest and most complex vessels ever to sail.

With a pool of more than 9,200 seafarers and over 500 shore-based employees all over the world, Wilhelmsen Ship Management is one of world\xe2\x80\x99s largest third-party ship managers with a portfolio of more than 450 vessels and counting.

The position will be located at Great World City - West Tower in the heart of Singapore and it is easy to get to by public transportation. This position will report to Fleet Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• TPE is responsible for the safe, efficient and environment conscious operation of the projects assigned.
• To ensure projects comply with all relevant rules & regulations with special emphasis on the ISM code, the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standard as well as flag state, port state and the industry\'s special requirements and regulations, and render support to ships as appropriate.
• During the absence of a TPE, the Fleet Manager in the respective Group assigns the responsibility or delegate another back up executives.
• Give support on matters related to technical operations as required.
• Keep technical project statistics.
• Attend to additional duties as decided during the annual employee dialogue.
• Analyse and respond to project trends / findings, maintains all executed projects in a organized manner.
• Participate in annual budgetary process with contribution to projects fund.
• Arrange dry docking matters and work closely with vessel managers.

• The position will be measured against safe and incident free operation of the assigned projects and in line with WSM and Client KPIs.

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Marine Offshore Technology, Marine Technology, Maritime Studies.
• Has at least 2 to 3 years past projects handling experience.
• Shore based experience as project in-charge for marine / ship related projects e.g. EGCS / BWTS / Dry Docking etc.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Environmental focused.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills in order to develop close relationships with shipboard staff, vessel owners, charterers as well as internal and external support functions.
