• Identify and establish new business opportunities and customer base in the international markets
• Act as a subject matter expert for the customer on product requirements, functioning as the point-of-contact for all technical matters for customers and sales of Electronic Manufacturing Services
• Provide pre-sales support and technical assistance
• Be familiar with current and future technology roadmaps and to work closely with technological partners
• Identify customer’s needs and provide advice on necessary product specifications
• Act as the technical interface between customers, sales and engineering teams
• Manage regular customer communication, sales and technical promotion
• Contribute and present complex technical information and business input to customers and internal stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering, Electronics Product Development, Telecommunications or related disciplines
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical/engineering related role in the Electronics Manufacturing Solution (EMS) industry is preferred
• Good knowledge of the EMS market and competitors will be an added advantage
• Strong business acumen to understand market demands/ technological trends
• Driven, self-starter and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with stakeholders
• Ability to speak Mandarin will be advantageous as the role will be required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking engineers in China
• Flexibility to travel, when necessary
