Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of offshore and industrial hydraulic solutions. They are looking for a Technical Sales Support Engineer to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in the West area - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical sales support
by analyzing customer needs, recommending suitable hydraulic/offshore solutions, and assisting with proposals and quotations.Engage with customers
to understand technical requirements, deliver product consultations, and conduct presentations or training sessions.Collaborate with engineering teams
to develop customized solutions and ensure specifications and performance requirements are met.Deliver troubleshooting and after-sales support
, including installation assistance, problem resolution, and system upgrades.Maintain product expertise and market awareness
through updated technical knowledge, documentation, and competitor/market analysis.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Hydraulics Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales support or engineering roles in the offshore, hydraulics, or related industries. Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, offshore equipment, and machinery used in the offshore industry. Familiarity with CRM software, CAD systems, and other engineering tools for technical documentation and product design will be preferred.
