Monitor all technical activities of assigned vessels, and ensure strong implementation of technical standards, systems, and procedures.
Coordinate and provide technical support for dry-docking, overhauls, maintenance, and statutory surveys.
Ensure vessels comply with all technical, classification, and flag state requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records during and after dry-docking and repairs, including tracking actual vs. projected costs and assessing the quality of work and materials used.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Purchasing, Accounts, Crewing, and HSSQE departments to ensure smooth and efficient fleet operations.
Undertake any other duties or projects as assigned by senior management.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent in Marine Engineering.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Technical Superintendent for bulk carrier and container vessels.
Experience with tanker vessels is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills.
Customer-focused with a proactive and positive attitude.
