Technical Superintendent (singapore)
Job Description
Our client is currently looking for a Technical Superintendent to join their team in Singapore.
In this role, you will be in charge of all technical daily management of vessels such as supervising the repairs and minimizing downtime, overseeing fuel management, budget control, and the planned maintenance system. The position also entails handling dry docking, monitoring crew performance, closing out audit non-conformities, addressing third-party claims, and supporting incident investigations in collaboration with the HSSE team. Regular reporting, interdepartmental support, and maintaining a professional and cooperative work attitude are also key aspects of the role.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering.
- Recognized degree in Maritime Studies or relevant qualification
- Seagoing experience is an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position preferably with tankers / bunker barges
- Willing to undertake short overseas assignment
- Demonstrated capability in difficult negotiation
- Proficient in MS Office
