Job Summary:

The Technical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all technical activities at project sites to ensure that installation, testing, and commissioning works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site supervision experience, and the ability to manage subcontractors and resolve on-site issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Supervision & Coordination

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including installation, cabling, equipment mounting, and system integration works. Ensure all site works are carried out in compliance with project drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. Plan and allocate manpower, tools, and materials required for site execution. Monitor progress and quality of works, reporting deviations and delays to the Project Manager.

2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide hands-on technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors. Conduct on-site inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of systems or equipment. Liaise with engineering and design teams to resolve technical issues encountered during installation. Ensure all corrective actions are implemented promptly and effectively.

3. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports, material usage, and work inspection forms. Support preparation of method statements, as-built documentation, and test reports. Record and report site variations, incidents, and non-conformance to the Project Manager.

4. Safety & Compliance

Enforce site safety regulations and ensure all personnel comply with workplace safety requirements. Conduct toolbox meetings and site safety briefings. Coordinate with Safety Officers to address potential hazards and implement corrective measures.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth on-site execution. Attend site coordination and progress meetings as required. Ensure work quality meets client and consultant expectations before handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Diploma or Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, ICT, or related technical discipline.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on site supervision experience in construction, ICT infrastructure, security systems, or M&E projects.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical understanding of system installation and integration work. Familiar with site safety practices and permit-to-work procedures. Proficient in reading technical drawings and interpreting specifications. Good communication and leadership skills. Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility. Experience with the following is an added value:
o Security and Surveillance Systems

o Have been involved in projects from inception to completion

Having own transportation or possess Class 3 license will be an advantage Familiarity with local site regulations and safety requirements (e.g. LTA, MOM, WSH standards).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month
