Job Description
Professional Qualifications: 1. Must have degree in Computer Science or Information Technology2. Certification in Microsoft, Linux or CiscoTechnical Knowledge: 1. Prior experience in technical support, desktop support or a similar role2. Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS3. Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software4. In-depth knowledge of hardware and sottware5. Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trendsJob Duties: 1. Installation and configuration of a company's computer hardware, software, operating systems, and applications2. Maintenance & monitoring of computer networks and systems3. Logging the queries of customers and employees4. Create an automated Helpdesk systems as DB for employees concerns on IT related5. Diagnosing and solving network, hardware or software faults or issues6. Troubleshooting of PC's, Laptops, Printer, Scanner and photocopy machine7. Technical Support / Regular Monitoring on the following:
- IT Systems such as WIFI connection
- Local Phone Lines
- Inventory of IT Equipment (e.g. laptop, PC's, printers etc.) issued including the lifespan & provide recommendations if for replacement or not
- Identification of defective IT equipment for servicing
- Biometrics
- Company events
- Opportunities for promotion
- Paid training
- Pay raise
- Promotion to permanent employee
- 8 hour shift
- 13th month salary
- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
