Technical Support Engineer
Job Description
Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines.
Responsibilities:
Set-up, install, buy-off and commission semiconductor equipment at customer sites
Provide pre and post sales technical support to service and upgrade equipment e.g. change-kits, new design modules, features and capabilities
Trouble-shoot process related problems and identify root cause for effective and timely resolution of field issues
Defend customer installed base with regular field service reports
Build and maintain strong customer relations on ground
Update and maintain all service related documentation or reports in databases
Requirements:
Diploma / Higher NITEC / ITC in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years experience in servicing automated / production equipment.
Good customer orientation skills
Able to travel overseas
