Job Description
The FIX-IT Crew (Technician) assists in all engineering/maintenance operations, including maintaining the hotel and gym, with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection. He/she is responsible for coordinating and carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance activities on hotel equipment, cabins and tools, and is required to perform preventative maintenance activities as scheduled.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform general repair and maintenance works
- Perform general electrical repair works to ensure functionality
- Perform general plumbing works
- Attend to necessary repairs on all hotel facilities and equipment with minimum down time.
- Identifying and highlighting potential maintenance issues
- Participate in the routine preventive maintenance program as scheduled to ensure that the Hotel continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently and safely, and the physical condition of the Hotel building does not deteriorate.
Knowledge, experience, skills required
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in hotel or related field preferred.
- Must have hands on knowledge of building maintenance skills, and basic knowledge of painting, drywall, HVAC and plumbing.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Able to work shifts, including weekend and Public Holiday.
