Responsibilities
Operate plasma spray systems using plasma spray gun.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to plasma spray equipment, coating defects, or process inefficiencies
Operate plasma spray gun for different types thermal spray processes, including plasma spray and coatings.
Familiarise with safety procedures related to handling chemicals, operating high-temperature equipment, and working in an industrial environment. Commit to safety protocols and practices.
Pay attention to detail and focus on maintaining quality standards in coating application, inspection, and documentation.
Requirements
Professional Certificate or Diploma in any relevant disciplines with minimum 2 years of experience in related role.
Technical education or certification in thermal spray technology, materials science, or a related field is beneficial. Completion of specialized training programs or apprenticeships focused on plasma spray systems and coatings is advantageous.
A strong understanding of thermal spray principles, equipment, and techniques is essential. Familiarity with different types of thermal spray processes, including plasma spray, is necessary.
Prior hands-on experience operating plasma spray systems is highly desirable. Practical knowledge of plasma spray gun operation, setup, and maintenance is valuable. Experience in troubleshooting common issues related to plasma spray equipment and coatings is beneficial.
