Claxton are currently looking to hire a Technician on a full time, permanent basis. Based in Tuas South Avenue, Singapore the successful candidate will be reporting to the Project & Operations Manager. The Technician is to assist and support workshop and onshore operations on Claxton Facility or dedicated onshore facility. The Technician required to run workshop task as a fully competent Technician. The role is multi-facetted and includes elements of understanding Claxton equipment, equipment maintenance, equipment preparation, mobilization, demobilization and operation of equipment at the workshop including trouble-shooting.

The Technician core operational and technical competence is in surface, subsea and down hole cutting techniques. The technicians will be required to be on the Claxton onshore facility and may involves extensive periods of hours in the workshop.

The Technician are also required to assist with the day-to-day service, repairs and testing of Claxton equipment and be involved in any new build projects. The technician also require to assist with the required planned maintenance & repairs of all company owned equipment such as water abrasive cutting systems, mechanical cutting equipment, friction stud welding systems, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, subsea dredging equipment, hydro hammer and others.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Work as a member of onshore teams in delivery of Claxton projects such as Water Abrasive Cutting System, Mechanical Cutter such as Diamond Wire Cutter, Soil Plug Removal Tool, Centralizers, Hydro Hammer (S-150 & S-90)
• Perform equipment servicing and troubleshooting such as Multi String Cutter, Diamond Wire Cutter, Hydraulic Power Unit, Air Compressor, High Pressure Pump, Diesel Engine, Etc in line with Claxton Technical and Safety requirements
• Diagnose/repair any equipment faults in both workshop
• Follow, and adhere to, all applicable workshop documentation and standards
• Assist to correctly mobilize, maintain and operate equipment
• Adhere to Claxton, and where appropriate Client Company\'s, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policies and Safety Management Systems
• Follow supervisor instructions during onshore operations to minimize risk and maximize quality of performance
• Actively pursue learning and development of competence in Claxton Facility
• Participate in finding solutions to complex technical problems
• Document lessons learnt, opportunities for improvement and non-conformances
• Required to Drive 15T Forklift, Potential Working at Height, Operating of Gantry Crane
• May possible go Offshore if required

• Minimum 5 years\' Experience in Oil & Gas Service Environment, specifically on subsea cutting, decommissioning and Hydro Hammer equipment
• A Diploma in engineering* or technology (*Mechanical or electrical/electronic or hybrid thereof)
• Singaporean / Singapore PR
