TechnicianDescription -What a Technician does in HP
Responsible to support the Manufacturing activities, including routing operational maintenance and repairs, new machine installation and set-up, validation and qualification phase of the Plant in Singapore.
Prepare raw materials for production use.
Load and unload materials and sub-assemblies, including material transfers.
Operate various process equipment per manufacturing instructions.
Perform sample collection for quality testing and data entry for test results.
Collect and input production or measurement data electronically as required.
Proactively practice and adhere to EHS and relevant safety protocols, GMP and other applicable ISO standards to ensure continual compliance to all procedures and processes
Initiate Kaizen projects to improve productivity, automation, quality and safety in the manufacturing environment.
Provide support to Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain initiatives such as Smart Manufacturing, cost reduction and quality improvement projects, and troubleshooting.
Escalate deviations in materials, equipment, process or utilities that may affect production capacity, quality or safety.
Perform day-to-day handover of production status and issue to the next shift.
Candidates with appropriate aptitude and attitude may be groomed to perform higher level tasks such as perform simple machine troubleshooting, production planning etc.
Individuals who will do well in this role in HP usually possess:
Minimally a Diploma, Higher NITEC / ITC / NITEC / NTC / GCE \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 Level or equivalent.
Physically fit and able to work 12 hours rotating shift with heavy loads.
Commitment to perform the job according to work instructions and procedures and strict adherence to chemical safety protocols.
Ability to work efficiently and handle workload and schedule pressures.
Possesses valid Forklift license is an advantage.
Knowledge in Microsoft office applications and Statistical Process Control will be an advantage.
Knowledge of SAP or any Enterprise Resource Planning systems an advantage.
