TECHNICIAN: (Tagore Industrial Estate) (Shuttle Bus to and from MRT provided) SGD $2.2-2.5k) RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Operational \xc2\xb7 To assist the Facilities Supervisor in carrying out the routine inspection and maintenance of M&E and estate functions Estate function: \xc2\xb7 Check the toilets\' flushing systems and hygiene that they are kept to acceptable standard daily. \xc2\xb7 Attend to minor routine repairs immediately and at the same time report the matter to the Facilities Supervisor. \xc2\xb7 Inspect the car park, driveway, general condition of the building fa\xc3\xa7ade, rooftop, drains, bin center, etc. Report to the Facilities Supervisor of any defects noted during inspection. \xc2\xb7 Supervise the pest control contractor when they are executing the work weekly. \xc2\xb7 Assist in periodic cleaning/ maintenance of the building as assigned from time to time. \xc2\xb7 Maintain proper checklists of all inspection activities. \xc2\xb7 Alert the Facilities Supervisor if any tenant violates the house\'s rules / lease agreement by encroaching into the common area. \xc2\xb7 Report to the Facilities Supervisor if any contractor fails to comply with housekeeping and safety fire rules M & E function: \xc2\xb7 Inspect the switch room, electrical risers, fire and pump rooms, standby generator room, etc. according to planned schedule. \xc2\xb7 Carry out minor repairs and report its status of progress/completion to the Facilities Supervisor on a daily basis. \xc2\xb7 Inspect the common lightings at both the internal and external of the building regularly and replace any blown bulbs immediately. Relamping of exit lights at various locations such as offices, corridors, etc. \xc2\xb7 Keep checklist records of any routine inspections carried out. \xc2\xb7 Assist the Facilities Supervisor to inspect any major repairs or upgrading works. \xc2\xb7 Assist the Facilities Supervisor to record utilities consumptions. \xc2\xb7 Inform the Facilities Supervisor if there are any frequent breakdowns in any M&E system, parts or components. Emergency Situation \xc2\xb7 To attend to any emergency call when contacted by mobile phone after office hours and assist the Facilities Supervisor Manager Management to rectify/resolve any site problems at Singapore G Building. General \xc2\xb7 Help maintain general cleanliness in the building and around its perimeters \xc2\xb7 Report corridor obstructions to the Facilities Supervisor. \xc2\xb7 Any other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor and/or the Facilities Manager from time to time. REQUIREMENTS: \xc2\xb7 Candidates should have 2 years experience in commercial building maintenance \xc2\xb7 Candidates should possess a minimum NITEC (Electrical) qualification. \xc2\xb7 Candidates should be properly attired always with neat and tidy appearance when on duty.
