Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding to refurbish aircraft engine components to meet quality standards.
• Support the cell operations in benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing and cold working processes.
• Potential to be trained on operating new Automation Machines.
• Participate in the EH&S programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
• Support the continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities and additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement

• GCE \xe2\x80\x99O\xe2\x80\x99 Level, NITEC, Diploma (Precision/Aerospace/Mechanical) or relevant disciplines.
• Comfortable to learn new welding methodology.
• Intermediate oral and written English language skill.
• Ability to understand and follow technical drawing and standard operation procedures (SOP).
• Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
• Familiar with the relevant air worthiness and regulatory agencies requirements is a plus.
• Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience is a plus.
• Attended external trainings with welding certification is a plus.
