Job Description


JOB MISSION:
The Technology & Digital Solutions Manager is responsible to ensure successful delivery and support of the retail client facing systems including POS, CRM, eCommerce and other retail facing systems with the support of system owners in the Regional Technology and Digital Services team.
The role is also expected to help identify business areas where there are opportunities for technology to improve a business outcome and supporting the delivery of business technology solutions to the market orchestrated globally, regionally, and locally.
Additionally, the role will be leading the program rollout of the Digital Strategy for Indonesia and Philippines markets, which includes eCommerce and CRM projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital transformation in the CRM, Retail, and e-business technologies space


  • Be local point of contact to Regional & Global counterparts to drive Chanel’s brand value in digital means

  • Be responsible for such activities - requirement gathering, define customer journeys, coordination with agency and consultant, development assistance for local customization, end-user-testing coordination, and technical performance management.

  • Collaborate with the business team to ensure business requirements are aligned and the end-results match the requirements.

  • Coordinate the change management for the initiative amongst local IT (for systems) and business (for processes) in order to deliver the Omni channel experience for customer

  • Build the onmi-channel integration between various online channels where possible (e.g. e-Retail)

Project Management

  • Collaborate with key customers to ensure expectations are in-line with project goals and objectives

  • Hands on participation in SIT & UAT test cases development and verification with stakeholders

  • Track the project's progress against the project plan and collectively adjust the project plan to ensure effective completion based on defined project success measures

  • Report to client sponsors and IT management the status of the project

  • Drive issue resolution through issue and risk management. Escalate issues to the decision-making body as appropriate


Technical Support

  • Local point of contact for IT technical support for all Retail, Customer related projects after go-live

  • Coordinate with Regional IT & Vendors for issue troubleshooting

Vendor Management

  • Monitor and ensure appropriate service levels from vendors are met

  • Ensure deployment and delivery time frames are met

  • Ensure vendor contract compliance

Budgetary and Performance

  • Make recommendations for service improvement plans and ensure actions are followed through to completion to a timely manner

  • Manage and monitor market innovation budget as required

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:
Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • BA or BS

  • Undergraduate Degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred but not required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus, but not required

Work Experience

  • At least 5+ years hands on experience in Retail systems and ecommerce solution with successful implementation references

  • Experienced in supporting end-to-end project life cycles and projects involving multiple internal/ external and local/ global teams, vendors, consultants and stakeholders

  • Experienced in multiple disciples, including IT/Strategic planning, IT operations, ERP, CRM, BI, Vendor management, Project management & Change Management.
  • Working knowledge of retail technologies integration (ie POS, CRM, O2O, OMS, BI and e-Commerce)
  • Working as a consultant for a recognized firm is a plus
