About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and motivated

Finance Associate (Temp)

to support the finance operations of a well-regarded public research agency. You will be part of the corporate finance team handling asset verification, finance operations, and vendor coordination.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in a structured, fast-paced environment with exposure to public sector financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the

Annual Verification Exercise (AVE)

for research infrastructure and fixed asset tagging. Monitor and track progress of AVE activities to ensure 100% asset verification and closure. Assist in the end-to-end

asset disposal process

, including documentation and coordination with internal teams. Guide and advise staff on

Asset Disposal Procedures

, ensuring alignment with internal finance policies. Handle

vendor management tasks

, such as invoice processing and supplier communications. Provide general support for

finance-related projects and ad hoc tasks

as assigned.

Requirements:

Diploma in

Accountancy

,

Finance

, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving skills. High learning agility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment. Able to multitask and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines. Proficient in

Microsoft Office applications

, especially Excel. Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
