Job Description

Onsite Support Engineers will provide the laptop set-up and preparation in the classrooms based on the class schedule given by SUSS.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills: The candidates should possess strong technical skills related to computer hardware, operating systems, and network configurations. They should be proficient in setting up laptops, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and configuring network connectivity.

Knowledge of Classroom Technology: Familiarity with classroom technology such as projectors, interactive whiteboards, audio systems, and AV equipment is essential. The candidates should be able to integrate the laptops with existing classroom technology to ensure seamless operation.

Problem-Solving Abilities: The candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the deployment and setup process. They should be able to troubleshoot software conflicts, network connectivity problems, and hardware malfunctions effectively.

Organizational Skills: Managing the deployment and setup process for 37 classrooms requires strong organizational skills. The candidates should be able to plan and coordinate the logistics, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of the setup in each classroom.

Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial for working with associates, staff, and other stakeholders involved in the setup process. The candidates should be able to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner and provide guidance on how to use the laptops and classroom technology.

Qualification Level: No preference. Equivalent work experience and relevant certifications can also be considered.

Working Experience: Previous experience in deploying and setting up laptops and classroom technology in an educational environment would be beneficial. Experience with managing large-scale technology deployments and working with diverse stakeholders is also valuable.

Commitment Period: 14 August 23 to 3 October 23, 6pm to 10.30pm (Mon-Fri)
