Position : Temp staff nurses and phlebotomists.

Contract is 1 year at the first instance (monthly rated, would be eligible for shift allowances as well).

The candidates are ok with the blood bank operation hours.

2 x Staff Nurse (preferably at SN2 level)

• Workplace would be at one of the blood banks/ mobile team in Singapore. Hired temp staff would undergo training at Blood Bank located at Outram for the first 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 months, and then get deployed out to one of the blood banks. Currently, we are looking at having the temp hire work at Punggol Blood Bank which is in a new blood bank slated to open later this year.
• Working days: 5 days per week (average 42 hours weekly). 5 days would include weekends. Would occasionally be rostered a weekend off. Staff would need to be ok with working on weekends and afternoon shifts.

The Staff Nurse plays an essential role in ensuring the day-to-day Blood Bank operations run smoothly, while ensuring safety and quality standards are always upheld.

Job description :

• Perform day to day operations at Blood collection sites which include supervision of staff.
• Provide nursing care and manage donor adverse events.
• Assess suitability of donor\xe2\x80\x99s vein and perform phlebotomy.

Requirement :

• Minimum Diploma for Registered Nurses (Nurse must have a valid registration certificate with Singapore Nursing Board) Staff would be monthly rated, and we are open to hiring fresh diploma in nursing graduates as well. Salary starts from $2,500. Can be up to $4,000 for SN with experience (depending on whether the candidate has relevant background and work experience). There would also be shift allowances (afternoon and weekend).
• Candidates must be outspoken and able to communicate well.
• Computer literate
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask well
• Able to perform morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts (no night shift)
