What the role is:Temp Student Support Officer, SSCS/SENWhat you will be working on:

• Provide individualized support to students in managing challenging behaviours in school, including support management for meltdown xe2x80xa2 Support the SEN team to implement behaviour intervention and learning support plans for students with SEN in collaboration with academic team and other stakeholders xe2x80xa2 Maintain records of student progress and interventions implemented xe2x80xa2 Assist with organising and implementing programmes for students with SEN xe2x80xa2 Partner with SEN team, academic team and other stakeholders to create a supportive environment conducive to the success of students with SEN

What we are looking for:

• Relevant qualification in Inclusive and Special Education, Education, Psychology, Applied or Educational Psychology, Counselling and/or relevant areas xe2x80xa2 At least 3 years of experience supporting students with SEN, preferably in an educational or social service sector setting xe2x80xa2 Passion and disposition to care for and work with students with SEN. xe2x80xa2 Resourceful and good problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse background, and collaboratively with different stakeholders in student support xe2x80xa2 Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team setting xe2x80xa2 Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and administrative skills xe2x80xa2 IT proficiency in data management, with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint xe2x80xa2 Experience in facilitating workshop and events management would be an advantage
