Temporary Accounts Assistant (3 Months)

Job Description


The Accounts Assistant is primarily responsible in handling the Accounts Payable functions & Fixed Asset Function. To reconcile vendor accounts and process Fixed Asset transactions. Ensure timely entry of all transactions into the accounting system.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile statements and payment records
  • Correspond with vendors regarding unreconcile billing and payments
  • Assist in fixed asset tagging
  • Perform follow up with users on their assets count status and assist to resolve any discrepancies found and assist in the summary report preparation
  • Perform administrative duties including data entry and document management
  • Coordinate and assist in filing, scanning and copying documents
  • To undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Nitec or LCCI or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in Accounting System (preferably ACCPAC)
