Job Title: Temporary Pharmacy Technician

University Health Centre (UHC) set up under NUS, is a holistic healthcare provider for the entire NUS community. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team under UHC to perform a variety of tasks under close supervision, following well-established guidelines, in processing of prescriptions, dispensing duties, inventory management, and other administrative duties
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the supervisor to ensure safe, accurate and efficient preparation and dispensing of medications to patients
• Ensure timely replenishment of pre-packed medications
• Maintain drug inventory and alert the supervisor when the stock level is low
• Ensure proper storage of drugs and cleanliness and tidiness of pharmacy
• Assist in the inspection of stock condition and check to ensure minimum product's shelf-life is met
• Participate in the routine pharmacy stock-taking exercises
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties, or ad-hoc departmental projects/activities as assigned by the management

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science/ Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Course (under MOH, PSS or its equivalent)
• Prior relevant work experience in healthcare will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel)
• Good team player and self-motivated
• Pleasant personality with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
