The NUS Social Learning and Development Lab (PI: Assistant Professor Lee Hae Yeon) is seeking to hire a Research Coordinator (30 hours per week, 1-year contract commitment for the possibility of extension) who can professionally help manage various longitudinal school field intervention projects, in collaboration with school liaisons, teachers, students, and research assistants.
The research coordinator will be expected to closely work with the Principal Investigator (Dr. Lee Hae Yeon) and co-investigators to effectively facilitate various stages of longitudinal school field intervention studies. The overarching aims of the interventions are to promote adaptive mindsets and beliefs about human traits and enhance adolescents\' stress resilience, healthy social emotional adjustment, positive character building, and mental health during the adolescent transition years. Broadly, the Research Coordinator will oversee daily operations of the projects including research-relevant administrative tasks and partnership communications. Throughout the lifespan of the projects, the Research Coordinator will be jointly responsible for maintaining positive relationships with the school partner leaders and teachers to ensure more effective implementation of the planned longitudinal data collection.
The research coordinator position will be an excellent training opportunity for graduates who are keenly interested in pursuing advanced graduate training or other scientific careers in the highly interdisciplinary fields of developmental psychology, educational psychology, child and adolescent clinical/counselling psychology, and population health science. The position is based on a 1-year contract with 30 hours-per-week commitment, with the strong possibility of extension subject to successful job performance and external grant funding availability.
