Temporary Research Fellow at Assoc Prof Yen Choo\'s lab at LKCMedicine.We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Fellow to join our team and contribute to this exciting project. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to design, implement, and optimize synthetic gene circuits for controlling iPSC differentiation towards different cell types including beta cells.Key Responsibilities:Design and construct synthetic gene circuits for lineage control in iPSCsConduct experiments to optimize differentiation protocols for generating beta cellsCharacterize the functionality and stability of engineered beta cells using molecular and functional assaysCollaborate with team members to integrate synthetic gene circuits into larger regulatory networksAnalyze experimental data and contribute to scientific publications and presentationsStay current with the latest developments in stem cell biology, gene editing technologies, and synthetic biologyQualifications:Ph.D. or equivalent degree in molecular biology, bioengineering, stem cell biology, or a related fieldMust have prior hands-on experience with standard molecular biology techniques including cloning, PCR, qRT-PCR, Western blots and mammalian cell culture Experience with stem cell culture and differentiation protocols, particularly with iPSCsExperience with multiparametric flow cytometry.Excellent communication and teamwork skillsDemonstrated ability to work independently and problem-solve creativelyHiring Institution: LKC
