What the role is:Contract perio May 2024 to Nov 2024What you will be working on:

• Supports Continuous Education Training (CET) finance operations, including administration and handling of enquiries, collection, billings, and debtor management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supports Students\' Union and Clubs (SU&Clubs) finance operations, which includes maintaining financial records, handling of month-end closing and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and preparation of adjusting entries and financial statements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections for SU&Clubs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaises and works closely with stakeholders on CET finance operations, both internal and external. \xe2\x80\xa2 Supports CET and SU&Clubs audit matters. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaises and works closely with system support on CET Training Management System issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensures compliance to policies and procedures for CET finance operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage and execute other administrative tasks, duties or ad-hoc projects as assigned.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary education in Accounting. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 5 years of experience in the accounting field. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to communicate effectively and possesses good command of English, both written and spoken. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resourceful and meticulous. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possesses good time management, demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent and strong team player. Proactive and works effectively under pressure. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
