What the role is:
Temporary Senior Executive - Student Support and Career Service (Student Services) (6 - 12 months)
What you will be working on:
Seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Senior Executive to deliver high-quality frontline support to students and stakeholders. This role involves managing daily operations of our student services centre (Connexions@TP), event space (The Hive) and student wellness space (The Sanctuary), handling multi-channel communications, and supporting procurement and budgetary processes within the department. Deliver excellent and empathetic frontline service across multiple enquiry channels. Manage daily operations of Connexions@TP, The Hive and The Sanctuary, ensuring readiness and efficiency. Optimise service delivery using digital tools and systems. Maintain and update the customer service knowledge base to ensure timely and accurate information. Monitor and analyse customer interactions to drive continuous service improvements. Support service studies and identify actionable solutions for service gaps. Collaborate with Schools and Departments to co-create and refine service solutions. Gather and act on stakeholder feedback, keeping them informed of progress. Build strong working relationships with colleagues and external partners. Support departmental procurement and purchasing processes. Assist in preparing and monitoring departmental budget and financial records. Share insights and best practices to enhance team performance. Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
What we are looking for:
At least three years of relevant work experience, preferably in an educational institution. Strong commitment to service excellence with a customer-focused approach. Prior experience in customer service and office administration is preferred. Experience in government procurement and budgeting processes is preferred. Detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work collaboratively across teams and remain calm under pressure. Tech-savvy, with a willingness to learn new digital tools and approaches.
