Job PurposeThis position requires the candidate to provide services related to Facilities Management, Workplace Safety and Health and Physical Security services in the following areas.- To assist in identifying facilities maintenance and repair work and report defects to Maintenance Team and follow through on it to have the defect completely rectified.- To assist the Operations team in checking on all teaching and training venues and coordinate with logistics and cleaning vendors and ensure that that these facilities are in pristine condition and upkeep.- Provide support in the preparation of staff work desks and office rooms for new and departing staff.- To assist the Operation Team in coordinating follow-up work related to Workplace, Safety and Health and Physical Security.Duties and Responsibilities1. Assist in facilities management in the school by working closely with Senior Executive.2. To supervise and facilitate various facilities related jobs awarded to term contractors & maintenance workers so that they can carry out work on minor repair and servicing. To also escort them to work sites.3. Assist Senior Executive to carry out minor renovation works in the school according to workplans targets.4. To prepare all classroom furniture, upkeep and activate cleaners to clean up before and after classes and events. This includes setting up of event venues.5. To coordinate with cleaners to upkeep offices, seminar rooms & staff and student lounges. To switch off air-con and lights when not needed in general areas.6. To assist in supervising logistics requirements for events, seminars and meetings.7. To assist in updating school-related directional signages, creation and putting up of temporary signages as and required.8. To assist in school\'s workplace safety and health initiatives as and when required.9. To provide support during condemnation exercises by working closely with staff in charge of Operations in consolidating items and identifying the stores and equipment.10. To escort pest control service team crew to various sites and inside offices as and when necessary.11. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time based on exigencies of service.Please note that some light shifting and lifting will be required from time to time.QualificationsHigher NITEC/Diploma in Building Services or Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related areas.

• Minimum 2 years of Facilities Management or related experience such as Building Security.
• Good written and oral communications skills
• Ability to present and write clear and concise reports/specifications
• Good Interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Competent with MS Office applications
• Candidates with degree will also be considered.
