What the Role Entails
Tencent Cloud is expanding its engineering presence across Southeast Asia and is looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Cloud Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Tencent Cloud products through systematic testing, automation, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will take ownership of the end-to-end testing process, enhance testing efficiency through modern practices such as DevOps and AI-based workflows, and play a key role in delivering world-class cloud solutions to our enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for at least one core cloud product, including test requirement analysis, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and quality reporting.
Continuously improve test efficiency and effectiveness through automation, chaos testing, DevOps methodologies, and AI-driven testing tools.
Provide delivery support where needed by collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business needs and ensure smooth product deployment.
Who We Look For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software/system testing, automation testing and test development, with strong command of testing standards and methodologies.
• Proven hands-on experience with automation testing, performance testing, and comprehensive test case design.
• Familiarity with mainstream cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or Tencent Cloud.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C/C++, Python, Java, Perl).
• Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin (spoken and written).
