: 5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Willingness to commit to extended hours if required

Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications Perform detailed quantity take-offs for civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and cleanroom packages Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimates for design-build or EPCM tenders Develop rate build-ups using historical cost data, supplier quotations, and market trends Benchmark costs against previous semiconductor/cleanroom projects Develop rate build-ups using historical cost data, supplier quotations, and market trends.

Issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and conduct technical/commercial clarifications Negotiate pricing and terms with key subcontractors and vendors Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management to align scope, schedule, and risk allowances Prepare tender clarifications and attend pre-bid meetings Identify cost risks, propose alternatives, and perform value engineering for optimal solutions Support internal tender reviews and approval processes Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering Prior exposure to

semiconductor, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or high-tech industrial

projects is a strong advantage Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Cubicost) and MS Excel Strong understanding of FIDIC/SIA contracts or similar Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong in negotiation and communication Ability to work under tight tender deadlines Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently Sound computer literacy, including advanced skills in Excel Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. * Good communication, reading, and writing skills in both English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese associate
