Corporate Development Group (CDG): as the platform for the company\'s new business incubation and new business exploration, CDG is responsible for promoting development and innovation for important areas such as financial technology and advertising, as well as marketing services, including payment and financial applications. As a professional support platform, CDG also supports the company and various business groups in strategic planning, investments and mergers, investor relations and corporate global communications, marketing and public relations, and more.

Position Overview

Tenpay Global ( ) harnesses Tencent\'s Financial Technology (FiT) ecosystem, technology, risk management, compliance, and big data capabilities to assist global financial institutions and partners in connecting with users and businesses. We are now looking for a Strategic Partnership Intern to join the team and participate in building and growing the our global cross-border payment network with key industry players. The suitable candidate should be able to commence work ASAP and commit for a full-time and part-time internship for 6 months or longer.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with local business development team to identify business development and partnership opportunities across the APAC region to build up Tencent global cross-border payment network in the remittance and payment space
• Coordinate with multiple internal functions including legal and compliance, operations and product teams to project manage all aspects of partnership process, including but not limited to lead selection, commercial contract negotiation, onboarding, implementation and other administrative coordination
• Participate in account management for key partner relationships and support partners on all product, compliance and technical issues.
• Develop and refresh sales materials customised for different key fintech/merchants verticals.
• Conduct country research on various emerging remittance/payments behaviour in key target markets.

Requirements:

• Undergraduates in Business/Finance/Economics/Computer Science or related fields, with strong interests in developing a business development career in FinTech payment space.
• Highly self-driven and passionate about fintech and digital payment products.
• Eagerness to continuously drive process improvement.
• Good time management and being able to prioritize tasks within fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to commence work ASAP and commit for a full-time and part-time internship for 6 months or longer
