Job Description

:

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Lead chemical processing & pollution control team.
• Operation planning and scheduling to achieve monthly revenue/ productivity target/KPI.
• Resources planning, hiring and allocation for processing team.
• Enforce safety, discipline and security requirements in processing team
• Trouble-shooting of process.
• Periodic reporting to management.
• Initiate process improvement.
• Support customer auditing and adhere to customer processing requirements.
• Facilities, space, tooling and consumables planning and procurement.
• Ensure all process data and documentation in place.
• Attend to emergencies , support in investigation and preventive/control measures implementation
• Support and coordination with other department and teams.

Qualifications:

Compulsory:

• Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Understand basic electrical and P&ID diagram.
• Operation knowledge and handling of team size of 10 persons or more.
• Basic PLC application, understand chemical reaction and chemical process safety handling.
• Minimum 5 years experience in chemical/petrochemical processing plant.
• Production, process and operation related experience.
• Team spirit, hands-on, able to handle stress, fast learner, diligent.
• Safety conscious, able to react fast in emergency situations.
• Minimum 5 years of experiences in hydrometallurgy process, preferably in Cobalt/Nickel/Lithium processes or lithium ion battery recycling process.
• Good understanding of PFD, P&ID.
• Good knowledge of mass balance / water balance, able to calculate / optimize mass balance /water balance in processes.
• Good knowledge of quality tools such as PDCA cycle, fishbone diagram, FMEA, DOE, 5 Why, etc.

Good to have:

• Process improvement and trouble-shooting knowledge and skill.
• Lithium-ion battery chemistry.
• Project management and maintenance.
• Wastewater treatment, pollution control equipment and MVR.
• Take initiates and able to motivate team members for improvement.
• CAD skills for plant equipment / facility layout planning

Working Hour : 8.45am to 5.45pm

Leave : starts from 14 days Annual Leave
