Test Automation Engineer (java Tester)

Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated testing solutions in Java to ensure high quality and robust software products.
- Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on customer requirements and company policies, ensuring accurate assessment of new products or software updates.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems that arise during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors, and collaborate with software developers to develop retesting procedures and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts (BA) to understand requirements and test steps and translate them into automated test scripts.
- 1-3 years of experience working in Java projects with a focus on automation testing.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and proficiency with productivity tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Good understanding of current and best QA practices, methodologies, and techniques, with practical experience in their implementation.
- Experience with automation scripting is a plus, preferably with Selenium and Windows UIA.
- Basic knowledge of SQL to extract data for tests.
