Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Test Designers or Hybrid BA-Testers with strong domain knowledge in Banking, Digital Channels, or Payment Applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to design test cases based on functional requirements, ensuring complete end-to-end test coverage for mission-critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and functional requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Work closely with BAs, Developers, and Product Owners to align on testing scope and coverage. Translate business rules into positive and negative test conditions. Ensure requirements traceability to test cases for full coverage. Support test data preparation and test execution planning. Participate in sprint ceremonies such as backlog grooming, stand-ups, and reviews. Proactively identify requirement gaps and seek clarifications early. Contribute to System Integration Testing (SIT) planning and coordination with stakeholders. Raise and track defects, and work with the development team for resolution. Support multiple project deliveries in Agile or Waterfall environments.

Requirements

3-7 years of experience in QA, Test Design, or Business Analysis within Banking or Financial Services. Strong expertise in at least one of the following domains: Core Banking Systems (e.g., Loans, Deposits, Payments) Digital Banking Platforms (Mobile & Web) Payment Systems (e.g., DuitNow, SWIFT, ISO 20022, RTGS, FAST, e-Wallets) Hands-on experience in test case design and functional testing lifecycle. Solid understanding of QA and software development methodologies. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr. Basic SQL knowledge for data validation. Exposure to test automation or performance testing is a plus. * ISTQB or other testing-related certifications are a bonus.
