Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Collaborate with technical leads to understand requirements, and develop/maintain new and existing test tools Participate in design reviews to align with system requirements and technical specifications Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage Design, organize, and maintain detailed test plans, cases, results, and data in line with management strategies Perform white, grey, and black box testing using established methodologies Prepare test reports and convene review meetings to share progress and findings with stakeholders Work closely with teams to resolve issues promptly and ensure proper closure Define test policies, guidelines, and strategies for company-wide compliance Promote a quality-driven culture and set example as QA team Continuously improve testing processes by staying updated with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Proficient in C++ or Python development Proficient in Linux operating systems and shell scripting Experience of working in a software QA and/or test environment would be an added advantage Experience or knowledge in any performance profiling tools like gprof, operf, Nvidia Visual Profiler, Valgrind or ASAN would be an added advantage Familiar with the design and implementation of test automation using commercially available or in-house developed test tools Experience or knowledge on Autonomous Vehicles (AV) modules, AV sensor drivers and interfaces like ROS and DDS would be an added advantage Experience in working with Jira and Xray (test management tool within Jira) would be an added advantage Independent worker with strong analytical skills * Self-initiated with an innovative and out-of-the-box thinking mindset
