We are seeking a motivated

Test Equipment Technician

to support our semiconductor manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance improvement of ATE Test and Backend equipment in a cleanroom environment.

Test Equipment Technician- 12-Month Contract with renewable

Location: North Singapore


Working hours :12-hour

permanent day or night shift

Job Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, conversion, debugging, and repair of ATE Test and Backend equipment. Record and update equipment maintenance, calibration, and performance logs. Collaborate with Engineers to enhance reliability, performance, and productivity. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime. Coordinate with Supervisors and Planners to meet production targets. Generate reports on equipment downtime, yield, and output. Train new technicians and operators on proper equipment handling. Maintain 6S workplace standards and manage spare part inventory. Lead or participate in process improvement and safety initiatives. Willing to work overtime when required.

Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related field. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor test or backend equipment. Experience with Test Handlers Equipment. Knowledge of Laser Marker and Scanner (Vitrox, ICOS) is an advantage. Able to read basic electronic schematics preferred. Good communication skills and teamwork attitude. Proficient in MS Office and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
