Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage payments testing across all IT Projects.
  • Work with IT Project Manager, System Analyst, Business Analyst and testing vendor to define and agree on testing strategy, scope and coverage.
  • On board new test resources and ensure appropriate planning is done.
  • Manage testing vendor team and handle statement of work.
  • Support testing team throughout test cases design and execution of test cases.
  • Review test scenario and test cases created.
  • Co-ordinating with various teams to ensure testing schedule and deadlines are met.
  • Reviewing deliverables such as Test cases, Test plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Closure reports, daily and weekly status reports.
  • Track and manage defects throughout the test period until closure and sign off for the SIT, UAT, Regression and performance testing. Monitor progress of test execution to ensure meeting testing timeline.
  • Ensure all of testing deliverables are met and the OCBC procedures and processes are adhered too.
  • Conduct Defect management meeting with development vendors/internal teams and UAT users.
  • Solution upcoming projects to provide the testing cost for those initiatives.
  • Planning, monitoring, and control of all testing activities and tasks.
QualificationsRequirements:
  • Proven working experience in test delivery with 10+ year of relevant experience in banking and Finance, with 5+ years of Test Management experience.
  • Strong testing domain in Payment\xe2\x80\x99s experience is a MUST and the candidate needs to have the skillset listed in table below:
Domain and Product Knowledge * Extensive Knowledge of Instant payments, Bulk payments both outgoing and incoming and payment schemes like FAST, PayAnyone, DuItNow, MEPS, TT, RTGS, FAST, PAYROLL, GIRO, RENTAS, Cross border SWIFT and other schemes across APAC
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payment platforms across countries like Singapore, Malaysia and other Asia-Pacific nations.
  • Extensive knowledge required on Retail and Corporate payment domain, and Core Banking experience on Retail and Corporate banking, Remittance, Clearing and ACH, Swift payments.
  • Experience in handling MT, MX, ISO 2002 messages and REST messages and hands on with such data mapping and testing
  • Strong product knowledge expected for payment products like GlobalPayPlus, IBAS, SWIFT or other Payment products extensively used in APAC region
  • Comprehensive knowledge on payments from Online channels \xe2\x80\x93 net banking, ATM, mobile banking, payments apps and offline networks
Knowledge of Payment functionalities * Understanding the Payment product and its integration with the core banking and external systems like Unified Payment Networks, CPG and Cross border networks
  • Strong Understanding of Payment life cycle, processing logic, pain, pacs, SNM, MT, MX messages
  • Knowledge of integration with Interfaces/Channels for input and responses via REST APIs or ISO messages
  • Experience in automation of payments processing engines is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of SDLC and Agile processes, testing methodology and different types of testing.
  • Familiarity of testing tools such as JIRA, Confluence etc..
  • Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques, and tools
  • Good vendor management skills and proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience in resource management and leading the team.
  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) skills, able to work independently and as a team player.
