We collaborate with engineers from other Functional teams, including Servo, Read-Write, Mechanical and Customer Firmware engineers to design and develop test process for HDD that will ensure Seagate HDD are best in class, beating our competitors in terms of Quality, Performance and Cost.About the role:Part of the challenges faced by HDD manufacturers are the production time for each HDD as the capacity of these HDD increases. As part of Seagate effort to lower the cost of goods sold, Test Time Reduction activities becomes a crucial part of Seagate Design Centers globally and these efforts have started involving AI and ML in the past 5 years.During your attachment you will be given projects that involves analysis of HDD manufacturing data, developing of tools to improve the efficiency of collecting these data for ML and finally deriving models that will help reduce HDD production time via accurate predictions of optimal drives adaptive parameters without calibrations.Therefore candidate should be knowledgeable in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Skillful in Python Programming, MS Office Excel or JMP SoftwareAbout you:
