Tests electronics systems and sub-assemblies using pre-set and verified manual, semi automated and automated test stations. Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned:
Performs production tests on units in process, basic tests on assembled units, failure analysis tests on malfunctioning product and final tests prior to product shipment.
Detects and isolates routine faults in circuit performance and defective or malfunctioning components.
Adjusts, realigns and recalibrates test equipment to required specifications.
May assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving technical problems on equipment or components.
Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
Applies knowledge from experience to perform production tests on units in process, intermediate level testing on assembled units, failure analysis tests on malfunctioning product and final tests prior to product shipment. Proficient in all aspects of the position. (60%)
Detects and isolates routine faults in circuit performance and defective or malfunctioning components. Performing functions moderately complex in nature and recognizes the need to apply various methods to accomplish tasks. (15%)
Adjusts, realigns and recalibrates test equipment to required specifications with minimal supervision except for new assignments. Sets priorities for performing work and managing time. (10%)
Interacts with peers and direct management with some exchange of information between other internal departments and work groups to assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving technical problems on equipment or components. (5%)
Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.. (10%)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience.
High School Graduate with Electronics / IT Hardware Field of Study preferred.
High School Graduate with General Studies field of study required.
Other Education / Certifications: A+, IPC
Able to use a 10-key quickly and accurately.

Possesses strong data entry skills.
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
