Job Description

You will report to the Testing Engineer and be part of the testing team. You are responsible to provide testing support at site for the testing and commissioning of escalators/elevators as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

Starting up of elevators/escalators, adjusting, testing and commissioning, following to the checklist for the testing of elevators/escalators with Client at site. Preparation of the elevators and escalators for testing and commissioning that includes trouble-shooting, checking, oiling, greasing, mechanical adjustment, testing of safety devices and inspection in accordance with local code of practice. Need to understand and comply to local Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements as well as site requirements.

Requirement

Diploma/ Higher Nitec in Vertical Transportation/ Engineering or relevant disciplines. Relevant experience in conducting testing & commissioning for MRT elevator/escalator will be advantageous. Min. 2 years of work experience in testing and commissioning of elevators/escalators. Need to work night shift when required as part of testing process. Basic English Proficiency. Team player, adaptable and agile.
