We predominantly carry out testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) to building air conditioning / mechanical ventilation systems and hydronic (chilled and hot water) systems, works are carried out to new builds and existing facilities, where air &/or water flowrates are measured and adjusted using specialized test equipment to meet the building/room requirements for the occupants to be able to carry out their works/processes. Additionally to our TAB works, we carry out CPT (cleanroom performance testing) and BET (building envelope testing). CPT is carried out to cleanroom facilities (Pharmaceutical Plants, Wafer Fabs), where tests are carried out to ensure the cleanroom meets the required standards to allow the production of pharma products and electronics. CPT tests are carried out with specialist test equipment, Photometers, Particle Counters, Digital Hygrometers etc, each cleanroom tested can have a multitude of tests to be undertaken, the main tests carried out would be: HEPA Filter Integrity Tests Room Particle Count Tests Room Air Change Rate and Room Differential Pressure BET is carried out to rooms within facilities where room integrity is important to the use of the room. Specialised door fans are installed and the room is pressurized to a recommended pressure to check the integrity of the room. These positions are suitable for ITE, Polytechnic graduates and above, and those finishing NS. New employees all receive on site training, with the potential of gaining industry certification & qualifications from United States and United Kingdom affiliated industry bodies. Our work locations are island wide, but majority of our workload is in Tuas, where we carry out annual testing work on existing buildings and new projects. Having your own transport is preferred but not a requirement, staff without transport are met at MRT stations (normally Pioneer, Joo Koon or Tuas Link) by company transport and brought to the workplace and at the end of the day sent back to the MRT station. Due to the nature of our work, there can be the need to work unplanned / planned overtime (evenings, Saturday afternoons and Sundays). Overtime is paid in addition to the basic salary. As a TAB Assistant you will spend the first few months being attached to a Project Supervisor, where you will be trained to carry out basic testing procedures and carry out the following minimum duties. 1) Preparing test equipment 2) Carrying of step ladders 3) Pre commissioning of the systems to be tested 4) Drilling test holes in ductwork for airflow measurement 5) Climbing ladders to measure and adjust airflows and water flows in air conditioning and ventilation systems 6) Assist with test report writing using Microsoft Word and Excel. 7) Carry out testing to ensure cleanroom air filters are free from leaks. 8) Carry out cleanroom particle count tests 9) Basic Math calculations Monthly allowance given for Handphone, travel and tools Annual allowance given for Medical and Dental
