Coordinate with design engineer, vendors and site construction team for commissioning activities.
Coordinate with testing centre, specialist, notify body on related T&C activities.
Ensure right and relevant information are relevant to actual site requirement and conditions.
Prepare test packs and procedure for equipment/machineries/ system.
Liaise with the T&C manager on all site related activities.
Inspection and Testing of Equipment
Perform process instrument set up and calibration as per project specification and design requirements.
Ensure loop check, power energizing, I/O signals check and interlock are tested as designed requirement.
Conduct inspection and testing tasks according to the test plan, test procedures and relevant standards in safe manner.
Testing and Commissioning of Overall System
Ensure safety requirement and PTW System are in-place and enforce in safe manner accordingly.
Test and commission according to the test plan, test procedures and protocol.
Record the faults and report any defects or deviations from the specification.
Analysis and troubleshooting
Analysis the test results, summarize this on the test report, descript any test problems, communicate with the automation engineer, process engineer and close the list of outstanding issues.
Troubleshooting and fault finding the process equipment and instrumentation errors, system error, wiring error and crimping error, etc.
